Age: Over 50 Skin: Fair, Combination, Sensitive |
After a lot of trial and error, as well as internet sleuthing, over recent years, I seem to have finally found skin care products and a regimen that works well for me and my skin. Hurray!
My Cleansing Tools:
- Microdermabrasion Waffle Weave Flannel
- Gentle Exfoliating Facial Sponge
- Superdrug Tea Tree Facial Wash
- Superdrug Tea Tree Toner
- Double-Faced Cotton Pads
My Moisturising Stuff:
- Eveline Mezo Lifting Face Cream
- Eveline Stem Cell Creator Eye Cream
- Eveline SOS Lash Booster *I curl my lashes first.
- Lip Balm
- * Eyelash Curler (Yes, I really do curl my eyelashes before bed! I've been doing so for years - I really don't know why, I just do).
I've been happily using Eveline products for a couple of years now, and the Mezo Lifting Face Cream is a very recent switch from Eveline Olive & Argan Face Cream. I've found I'm happier with the results of this new face cream. More about this in a later post, though...
I have done a surprising amount of research, including reading reviews, on everything I use on my face. MakeupAlley and Amazon, have been very useful for those purposes, just to name a couple of sources.
One of the common threads in anything I use is the cruelty-free aspect of products - I do my human best to make sure that anything I use is not tested on animals. That's very important to me!
Also, with the exception of my ages-old eyelash curler, pretty much everything I use is around £7.00 or less. So, none of them break the bank! Hurray, again!
In upcoming posts, I will review my "Tools and Stuff" in more depth, including the process that led me to the things I use today. Including attempting to use coconut oil in my hair...with annoying results! [Sigh] I so wanted it to work as well for me as it seems to have for so many others!
Anyway, I hope you'll continue to enjoy my newest blog as it morphs and grows!
'Bye for now, my lovelies! XO
